According Soccernet Brendan Rodgers has been given an early opportunity to show his former employers what they are missing after Watford were drawn at home to Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Rodgers spent four years as youth and reserve coach at Stamford Bridge before leaving to take the managerial reins at Vicarage Road in November.
The 38-year-old will not be the only familiar face for the visitors with Frank Lampard Sr, father of Chelsea's England midfielder, currently employed as Rodgers' football consultant.
Captain Jay DeMerit, who netted his first FA Cup goal in yesterday's 4-3 fourth-round win over Crystal Palace, believes the occasion will be one for the Hornets to relish.

He told Sky Sports: "It's a tough game of course but this is what we play for. Ever since I've been here we've never been short of cup runs and it's always good to get in these situations.''

Well, the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad are over and if you have not had the happy chance to be there, in the Bird's Nest stadium, observing grandiose sport events however I guess you used placed here links to see the enchanting sight online.

As the saying is all good things must come to an end, you can say what you like but sport matches we love have continued. And if you have not seen yet how Real Madrid won the Spanish Super Cup for the first time since 2003 with a 4-2 win over Valencia with goals by Ruud van Nistelrooy, Sergio Ramos, Ruben de la Red and Gonzalo Higuian you can do it using football videos right now. Just look at how David Silva is opening the score with an exact shot into the Real's gate in the 32nd minute and Valencia goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand is letting through the goal being absolutely helpless at the moment. By the way if you remember Spain team won Euro 2008 just because David Silva played the way he is.

“Five men have been arrested today on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting as part of an ongoing investigation into football corruption,” said a City of London Police spokeswoman.
Redknapp and Milan Mandaric, the Leicester City chairman and former Portsmouth chairman, were held after early morning raids this morning involving officers from the City of London Police. Amdy Faye, the Rangers midfielder formerly with Portsmouth, football agent Willie McKay and Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie were also held as officers searched eight addresses across the UK.

Redknapp, who has been linked with the vacant England manager's job, was questioned at Chichester Police Station. Redknapp said he believed his release from Chichester police station was "the end of it" after being questioned by police. He spoke as he returned to his multi-million pound home at Sandbanks, Poole, Dorset.
He said: "We all helped the police with their enquiries, but it doesn't directly concern me, it's other people involved. I've been answering questions to help the police. I am not directly concerned with their enquiries." The raids were the latest development in attempts by the authorities to root out corruption in the national game, which began after the report by Lord Stevens of Kirkwhelpington this summer into football transfers.
The Quest team led by Stevens, the former Metropolitan Police commissioner, trawled 362 transfer deals made over a 15-month period.

Sandri had been traveling to the northern city of Milan for Lazio's game against rival Inter Milan. He was hit in the neck by a bullet while in a car at the rest area along the A1 Autostrada highway near the town of Arezzo, about 125 miles (200km) north of Rome.

Several Italian TV channels showed Sandri's brother, Cristiano Sandri, gesturing angrily and yelling "they killed my brother." A man des
